So I’m editing some footage from Scion’s HypeMan 2008 contest and I came across this guy Flula Borg.
He seems very genuine and his energy is contagious, speaking of “Contagious”

This one is the Mike Ardelean profile from issue #5. This was one of the strongest issues and unfortunately did really get out there. It seemed like we had just got past all the road blocks and were actually starting to do what we wanted with the BMX program when 411VM pulled the plug on BMX.
Robbie and I were bummed that we lined up all this content for the issue and it wasn’t gonna happen. We convinced them to put #5 out. They put it out through their own distribution with a press release saying that Robbie, Dave Parick and myself would be taking over the project, never happened though.

This lovely lil note was left for me sometime last summer in Brooklyn. We had just returned from filming upstate and I was dead sleepy, I guess I parked in front of someones driveway. Oops!
I just hope that the child was not made to endure a grammar lesson in leu of camp especially if it was from the parent who starts sentences with “Because”.

Ok so I have a macpro editing station and a Blackbook. The editing station isn’t on the internet so I’m always sending files over to the Blackbook via Bluetooth to post them online, ichat or email them.
I use Ichat a lot too. Typically Monihan (bricolagista) and I will swap project files back and forth when we both have all the media for whatever project we’re working on.
We ran into a really annoying problem today. ERROR WRONG FILE TYPE. So I’d bluetooth my project file from the Macpro to the Blackbook then Ichat it Monihan. When he tried to open it he’d see the WRONG TYPE error. We tried everything, too many things to list. I finally burned the file to a CD and put it on the Blackbook that way and it worked noproblemo. I did some more test after that to make sure that Bluetooth was the problem and it was. So screw you Bluetooth go give a cellphone user a brain tumor and get out of my workflow.

Last night we (the Bricolagista crew) shot an interview with GZA and checked out his performance with the fire department @ the loft in Atlanta. The show was dope but the interview was a bit awkward, for some reason the interviewer told GZA that even though hip-hop used to be taboo he thinks “It’s gonna happen”. Ouch!
